课程设置与安排
1. 学制
学习期限为一学期（学习时间为16周）及以上，设五日班、三日班🩺。
春季学期于3月初开学，秋季学期于9月初开学🙏🏽。
2.课程设置
汉语课程:开设Level1-level8八个级别，每个级别的报名学生满三人（含三人）以上开班。
科目设置📽：精读💆🏼♀️、泛读🧝🏿、听力、口语、HSK 等课程，具体见附表💆🏻♀️🤬。
免费选修课:中国国画、传统手工艺等♟，每门课程报名学生满三人（含三人）以上开班。
疫情期间课程类型为线上课程，每星期16课时。

- 课时及班级人数:
1课时为45分钟👨🏫，每节课2课时。所有级别及课程均为报名学生满三人（含三人）以上开班🏄🏻，每班不超过 20 人。20人以上班级实行分班。
★按国家法定节假日放假或调课。

1.申请时间
春季学期课程每年9月开始申请；秋季学期课程每年3月开始申请🪴。
2．申请资格
年龄在16周岁以上、45周岁以下🎅🏽，身体健康的国际学生🚴🏼♂️。

Chinese Language Program at SMU
Courses and Schedule
- Length of Study
one semester (four months) or above length; Program includes five-day, three-day courses etc;
Spring Semester opens in February and Fall Semester opens in September.
- Courses
Chinese Language Course: from Level1 to level8, altogether 8 levels; Classes will be held with three or more registered students at each level.
Course includes intensive reading, extensive reading, listening, speaking, and HSK etc (Pls refer to the following two tables.).
Free-charged Elective Courses: Chinese Traditional Painting, Handicraft etc. Classes will be held with three or more registered students at each course.
Online courses of 8 are provided during the pandemic ( 16 periods of classes each week).

- Class Period and Size
1 period=45 minutes, and each class takes two periods. Class size: The minimum umber of students in each class is 3 students, and no more than 20. In case one class has more than 20 students, a new class of the same level will be set.
★Holidays: Academic Calendar will follow the national Statutory holidays of China.
Application
- Application Date
Spring Semester application starts from September and Fall Semester application starts from March.
The application is accepted all over the year.
